@mjtsai I think it's a broader movement; the death of OO as a "formal" CS foundation (and I think it's a great thing).

@mjtsai CoreData's traction seems to be largely a matter of circumstance; simply impossible to implement LINQ in ObjC …but now there's Swift

@landonfuller @mjtsai IMO Core Data has traction simply because it's provided by Apple, and there are a lot of programmers who just Obey.
