@mjtsai Maybe. Perhaps Apple explaining their reasoning *might* help. Until that (ever) happens, we’re left guessing.

@mjtsai@danielpunkass I’d assume this is because of Pinned Tabs. If you pin “Google News” to the first tab, Cmd-1 still goes there. -
@mjtsai There was an option to revert the new behaviour in a previous beta, which was removed. I filed a bug to get it back.
