@mjtsai got to wonder if it's your router, it's config, or your ISP at a certain point.

@davemurdock I don’t think so, because the problem occurred both before and after we moved, with 3 different routers including new AirPort. -
@mjtsai are you using not your ISP DNS? It's kind of baffling to have such persistent repeatable problems across so many releases. -
@davemurdock Using regular ISP DNS. Very simple network with one router. Everything was fine until Apple TV software update last fall. - View other replies

@davemurdock Thanks, but unfortunately neither of our Apple TVs has a cord on it. Networking works fine to view catalog, just can’t stream. -

@mjtsai My AppleTV hasn't gotten any better. Just last night, it lost the connection with my Mac and I had to restart it.
