@mjtsai which model AppleTV? And what OS version? And would you mind filing a radar?
Not sure what happened to the network stack, but about 50% of the time now my Apple TV won't play anything until I restart it.

@pbur This is happening with both Apple TV 2 and 3, current OS versions, two different houses, two different AirPort Extremes. I'll file. -

@jfricker But now that you mention it, I think I recall others saying that Ethernet is actually less reliable at connecting to Apple server.

@mjtsai agreed. At its best, the Apple TV was at least as reliable as roku. I just got tired of dealing with it over the past 6 months or so

@mjtsai I just got a new Apple TV two weeks ago and it’s been having that problem a lot; my 3rd gen had that only rarely. (Had other probs.)
