@leebennett DB server has now been moved to the same data center, and WordPress (no plug-in) deleted the remaining 4,000 in a few seconds. - View other replies

@mjtsai Glad to know about that plugin although fortunately I’ve never yet found more than 100-200 comments in the spam folder. -
@leebennett I am getting thousands per day, and it was no longer auto-emptying after x days. Manually emptying would time out.
