Core Data Question: - mac os x - non-document based app - sandboxed - storing BLOB data in external record file where is that file?
@isaiah Did you check the database itself? I think that option is only advisory, so maybe Core Data chose not to use a separate file.

@mjtsai yep. no blob data in the db file. i can fetch it via core data, just can't find it in file system. -
@isaiah Odd. Well, I guess you could use fs_usage or DTrace to figure it out. -
@mjtsai yeah, i've been trying that stuff for a few hours. it's hard to find the needle in the haystack of noise the file system spews out. -

@mjtsai yep. finally found it. apparently it will never write the file when the store is an XML type store.
