Yosemite Tip: If the transparency/vibrancy really bugs you, select System Preferences > Accessibility > Display > Reduce transparency option

@mmunz Thanks; I'd forgotten about that. I think there was another change in that vein that doesn't have a checkbox.

@mjtsai For me, biggest improvement — it seems less of memory pig than prev. versions when you open/close lots of tabs.
