      @mhenders I haven’t investigated yet, but is Mail now relying more on Spotlight for smart mailboxes rather than its own Envelope Index?

        @mjtsai These crazy-numbered smart mailboxes all look for MailTags tags. I’ve installed the MT3 preview, but didn’t help this problem.

        @mjtsai @mhenders Not sure why Mail is relying more on spotlight for smbs. My experience is that spotlight is not as good as envelope index

        @mjtsai @mhenders Yes — Mail seem to be relying on spotlight more than its own index. which is part of our issue with MailTags.
