Maybe everyone already knows this, but the Xcode 5.0.1 GM seed is not the same as the release version.

@stormchild@mjtsai I guess the problem is: What do you do if you find a bug after publishing the GM? Leave it in for the sake of semantics?

@petermaurer @stormchild I think RC 1, 2, etc. makes more sense. Then when you ship just say which one is the GM.

@mjtsai@petermaurer@stormchild That's old school -- and also how I do it. Then again, RC1, RC2,etc are not 4-5GB downloads each. :) -
@mjtsai@petermaurer Exactly. With OS X / iOS, the purpose of the GM is to tell 3rd party devs “this is exactly what we’re shipping”.
