@danielpunkass I'm with @djlemur. I often use it to stealthily point out errors and typos w/o having to publicly embarrass people.

@uliwitness @djlemur I use them all the time, too. But they have fiddly usability behaviors that are nonetheless difficult to contend with.

@mjtsai I.e. banning URLs is a short-sighted attempt to limit attractiveness to spammers. Or so it has been speculated.
