@DanFrakes I guess the stumbling block for me is that neither my coding nor tech support is really possible on an iPad.

@mjtsai Bingo ;-) Some things just aren't really possible on an iPad. For me, much of my "travel work" is email, RSS, simply writing.

@DanFrakes OTOH, if I wanted to type a lot, the 11-inch MacBook Air’s screen shows a lot more, and typing and pointing are more ergonomic.

@mjtsai depends on your vantage point. For note-taking I find not having a computer screen between me and others makes a big difference.
