@mjtsai You should be able to implement a custom accessor for lookup by ID. Or did you, and it’s just not getting called?
Would be nice if Cocoa scripting didn't ignore the specified accessor style. It’s much faster for my app to find objects by id than index.

@mjtsai It’s used id access for me in the past… wild stab: does that object’s objectSpecifier return an index specifier?
