Thanks to @OmniFocus support. Unregistering and registering my iPhone got it to compact the database and made syncing much faster.

@mjtsai their sync architecture was early but is far worse and slower than alternatives these days.

@mjtsai It's just much, much slower than Things or The Hit List or even Reminders. It's dependent on ALL devices syncing very regularly.
Loading seems to be taking a while.
