MD5 is weird. Almost infinitesimally small chance of collision, but infinite number of collisions per hash. Maybe infinity is what's weird.

@mjtsai Yep. MD5 may give us enough pigeon holes to encircle our solar system, but there's an infinite input space. Still weird. :-) -
