@mjtsai Ouch. :( Funny thing is I though they had fixed some clang issues targeting 10.6 in this release.

@danielpunkass I try not to be too snarky, but how can this not even be in their test suite before shipping? -
@mjtsai I know. It’s really disappointing but I think it’s explained by extremely marginal interest in 10.6 compatibility. -
@danielpunkass Was planning to ship some code that uses ARC relatively soon. Thought it was RFPT. Still have lots of users on 10.6, though. - View other replies

@mjtsai Still use old 10.6 machine to build and release most apps - that will have to change of course. - View other replies

@danielpunkass I don’t go that far, but I’m still using Xcode 3 for the shipping stuff. Wanted to update it due to random freezes on 10.8.

@CastIrony@0xced@gparker I don’t know about you, but I still have a large percentage of customers on 10.6. -

@mjtsai are you using +(void)load; anywhere in your app? There's a longstanding bug with load if used with ARC on iOS 4 & Mac OS 10.6. -
@nicklockwood No, but thanks for the heads-up.

@mjtsai I actually had that same problem with Xcode 4.5.2. Haven’t figured out a workaround besides turning optimizations off yet. -
@mjtsai Confirmed. App crashes immediately after launch, same code base :/ Damn. Any solution so far? -
@mjtsai@optshiftk or something was fixed? :-)
