(I say “constant-memory”, but the implementation is recursive. Still, in *my* use case, the memory load does not grow.)

@mjtsai …Dunno. I'm feeding it my ResEdit folder and it says 7,460, which does not add up. (1,312 + 3000 + 0 + 670,639)
