@mjtsai So *that's* what's going on! Dragging to the retina screen and clicking on the icons seems to fix it.
More evidence that Apple doesn’t test on multiple displays: AirPort Utility device photos are cropped instead of scaled on a Retina Mac.

@fetchguy Interesting. I had tried dragging it to the Retina screen and saw no change; didn’t try clicking it there.
