    Safari 6’s buggy and a resource hog; Chrome 22 doesn’t feel like a Mac app; Firefox 16 doesn’t either and still missing AppleScript support.

        @mjtsai — Yeah, pretty much my thoughts exactly. We’ve regressed, but I still prefer Safari.

        @simX I still prefer Safari, too, just frustrated that it’s gotten worse.

        @mjtsai FWIW, I found a fix for the drawing issues in Safari 6. In Debug menu: http://twitpic.com/b2mvj1

        @stormchild That seems worth a try. Thanks! (Enable Debug menu via “defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeInternalDebugMenu 1”.)

        @mjtsai Yeah…that’s the new plist key for Debug, right? They changed it around 5.1.

        @mjtsai ever tried iCab?

        @TomEck I was a big fan of iCab in the pre-WebKit days. Maybe it’s time for another look.

        @mjtsai It feels a bit cluttered but is highly adjustable. Still, syncing bookmarks with iDevices is much easier with Safari.

        @mjtsai Agreed completely. Best hope is for Apple to concentrate on a Snow Leopard-style Safari 7: bug fixes and architecture improvements.

      @mjtsai @GlennF Note: that's been every version of Safari. I used to be able to crash it by opening two SSL pages. I wonder...

      @mjtsai Blog post coming (when I have time). This fixes two separate issues: discolored images, and wonky clipping (e.g. rounded corners).

      @mjtsai Chrome 22 also is a resource hog. I have frequent waits(on the order of tens of seconds) for pages to redraw.

      @mjtsai Didn't realize that Chrome's version number is already 22.
