Nasty ML bug: 1. Open .html file in TextEdit 2. Convert to plain text 3. Undo File now permanently destroyed, even though you didn’t save.
@stormchild I reproduced it on 10.8.1, and I have it set to ask before saving changes, too!

@mjtsai Do you have a preferred text editor that actually supports 10.7/10.8 file versions? That’s what I was trying to do here. -

@mjtsai Likewise, and we’re using Hg here, but this was just a simple prototype I was building so it wasn’t checked into anything.

@mjtsai If you close the plain text file instead of ‘undo’ing, it’ll ask if you want to save, and at that point you can safely revert. -
