Seriously? There is no non-deprecated way in 10.8 to figure out what version of Mac OS X you're on? Parse the SystemVersion.plist is it???

@skid Checking for features is sometimes problematic. Classes are sometimes exported before they are public, for example. /cc@peternlewis
