Seriously? There is no non-deprecated way in 10.8 to figure out what version of Mac OS X you're on? Parse the SystemVersion.plist is it???
Michael Tsai@peternlewis I suppose “sw_vers -productVersion” is a little better than parsing SystemVersion.plist but too bad about Gestalt.
