Some people have suggested that blind grading prevents a professor's personal biases from affecting law school grades. This class, however, was not graded blindly, and participation was 25 percent of each student's grade.

She had angst about it! It's a real thing & she was concerned. What's the issue?

Because she was complaining, and seemed to be blaming the Black students. She did not sound as though she was asking for help in addressing the issue. Change her teaching practice? Reflect on how she comes across to students? Things she could do, but didn't sound interested.
