Pro-life groups may claim they do not want to punish women. But they promote bills that subject women to severe punishment for obtaining abortions. It is a lie that abortion bans will not penalize women. I keep thinking of children who are not wanted having to be raised by parents who resent then because they were forced to have them. There were many in my grandmother's generation. Some of her own children. Increadibly sad.
