Even if I *could* deliver a compelling talk without using the term, I could not agree with the *spirit* of the ask. I understand the predicament companies are in right now - "Does this expose us to legal risk?" "Will we get sued?" "Will we lose our government contracts?"

I can neither confirm nor deny that shitloads of people who deeply give a shit about anti-racism are losing said shit because 1) the chilling aspect of EO and 2) EO-required data collection with implication of getting fired for having given a DEI workshop in FY20 prior to EO
