This is the basic problem with lawmakers. They are too wealthy and they lack empathy. Many are even proponents of "prosperity gospel" thinking. The view that if you are poor it is because you are a personal failure in God's eyes. Vote them all out.

I think just being in the streets all over will also help. I hate to say it, but most of us can't afford to go protest in DC - 4 me, it's a minimum of 3 days. 2 are travel to DC via air. .
