So what it is learning is not how to sort topics, but instead is learning how to sort people. I forsee no problems with this at all, it isn't like any AI has every become racist or sexist when it's creators hooked it up to the internet... oh wait.
I do think they set some restrictions around certain topics. For example if I talked about the new Joker movie, more often than not it's demonetized due to the controversy surrounding it
Yes it would be better with more appeals in theory. It isn't that simple though. It is looking at the whole picture not a single account. It basically is if this is any of these combination of (thousands of) data points then demonetize. The training changes those data points.
