    It's about whether concepts are clear and consistent to the reader of the code, not to the computer. Computer generally doesn't care about immutability.

    Here you go: 'vanity' is a constructive glossary builder. Takes your structured glossary and turns into HTML and a DAG.

    Wondering about a dictionary where symbols (words, mostly) are defined informally but hierarchically. The use of undefined words in a definition is permitted but discouraged, since words with a definition are highlighted using bold face or something. Result is a big DAG of words.

    Well, in the case of Medium we're talking about really, really low value content but also very low access fees compared to academic research papers. It just boggles my mind that the best stuff is free such as Wikipedia or affordable such as technical books.

    Essentially, if there's no quality control, then the Web model where browsing is free seems preferable. Even with ads.

    Can anyone convince me that Medium, which I just found out is paywalled, should be used at all? It seems very different to me than streaming providers like Netflix and Hulu, or Spotify, due to the short, unprofessional, and uneven nature of what gets posted there.
