Mendelson is the only local pol I’ve seen here tonight. Staff for CMs @cmdgrosso and @charlesallen, as well as Ward 2 Council candidates @JMGinDC, @PLKDC, and John Fanning. Several LGBTQ ANCs here also.
Mendelson calls to say he was unaware that Corado was calling him out as he left the vigil. He also says he was unaware of the request for funding until after the Council voted on the budget.
I should also note that the GLAA testified in front of @CMBrandonTodd’s committee to make their request for funding.
