This is how Trump understand everything. If he didn't know it, how could anyone else possibly have?

Still, this is a much preferred reaction than “Why don’t they make entertainment like in the good old days where there was no political messaging!” I get this article genre is silly, but isn’t it nice to see people re-engage and better understand the films of their youth?

God, I hate these things. Making “kids” TV the common note is always that a kid won’t understand what’s perceived to be more “adult themes” and kids always prove them wrong. There’s no kid rooting for the Mayor in The Grinch

And the presumption that "kids" can't understand these messages. Hell, my Mum faced down a Montreal theatre manager who didn't want to let me into "Cuckoo's Nest" when I was 11 (Quebec gave it a hard 15 rating.) I saw it, I loved it, I understood everything that was going on!

Seeing this happen with Avatar is leading me to engage in another dumb genre of tweet, "expression of shock that there are people younger than me"

I don’t enjoy people throwing fresh takes at you in a way that seems to be more about what people would think of them for thinking it than trying to really say a thing, its like “hey dont you agree i see the world more perceptively than most people”
