That freedom is both exhilarating and terrifying. Because it painfully reveals that moving forward is not only about what one wants; it is also about what one doesn't necessarily want. It is an opposition that, if not balanced, creates unnecessary conflict.

If, however, that opposition is not seen as a conflicting proposition but as a complementary one, it does an incredible magic trick : It allows for more possibility, despite suggesting otherwise; more freedom, despite imposing pragmatic constraints and restrictions.
