I don't know. I have never met a stoic in my life. The internet seems to be full of them however. A philosophy, however useful, cannot gerrymander life to suit itself. Ok so my objection is to: "...byproduct of being solely responsible for your life and everything in it." Based on my reading of meditations, a stoic would strongly disagree. Namely luck plays a huge role, and we must strive to live with it while mini. its psy. effect on us
