I don't know. I have never met a stoic in my life. The internet seems to be full of them however. A philosophy, however useful, cannot gerrymander life to suit itself. Isn't stress a natural response to experience that doesn't fit into our existing world view? As our experience expands/grows we suffer from disequilibrium until we can accommodate the fresh ideas. Jean Piaget wrote about it in childhood development.pic.twitter.com/f8Jh2bzV40
