love this. But just a thought. Is it outcome or opportunity? Surely it’s more accurate to say you can “spend” fear in hope of an outcome, or pursuit of one - but the actual exchange is on opportunity. That no outcome is 100% guaranteed - hence why it’s called fear?

Fear is the opportunity, until it is no longer; then the outcome is 100% guaranteed: Regret.
-
that’s true. The outcome is indeed never guaranteed anyway - until it’s over, when, as you say, it is guaranteed. Guaranteed as “no”. I’m completing a project right now which very much explores the concept of regret and it’s impact on our behaviours and lives. So a timely tweet.

Sweet. Followed!

It’s a screenplay. Time will tell if it ever lights up a camera’s sensor, hears “action!” and ultimately ends up on a VOD outlet... here’s to hoping. And the satisfaction of at least trying. If it doesn’t make it, the regret won’t be anywhere near as much as if I never tried.

That's the spirit. Passion and inspiration.
