Self-reflection is the #1 habit. Without quiet undistracted time alone to process thoughts and emotions you won't know what to do with them.

Disagree, they're just tired of thinking... it's exhausting. Return to infancy. I dont think most ppl learn to train the brain.

1. Self-reflection is not thinking 2. Cognitive skill declines w/age but thinking is automatic, you can't give it up b/c you're tired of it.

3. Brain development/function has its own timeline as any organ of the body. To imply we are solely responsible is a gross misunderstanding.

4.We obey the laws of nature and adapt/act accordingly. Different ages, different rhythms. Can't judge one with the metrics of the other.

5. Anyone at least 5 yrs older is more experienced than you at life. Can't quantify life experience, to dismiss it though is foolish.

If u are assuming age / life experience parallels experience in self reflection and inquiry you are wrong.

If you are assuming it has nothing to do then your view is extremely limited and ego-based.
