Inquire into the fear of death & you also inquire into your attachment to life and realize that love & death are 2 sides of the same coin.

Is this why so some people avoid talking about their own deaths? Because it means to confront our personal selves?

It means to confront the fact that deep down there is no self. Everything they hold on to will be no more after they die.

Everything is transient. Thoughts pass, situations pass, everything goes. There is beauty and horror in this.

Beauty and horrible are both there. Your level of consciousness will dictate what you see in it, and what you choose to do with it.
