TFW you have lunch with your colleagues and end up explaining how much suffering per calorie their meals entailed http://www.animalvisuals.org/projects/data/1mc …
A man enters a farmer's house and sees his kids with a bandaged, 3-legged pig.
Man:
Farmer: We love him so much we only eat him bit by bit

That seems like a twisted sense of love.
-
Really makes you think.
-
In what way? The farmer seems unnecessarily cruel to me. He could kill the pig without letting it suffer. Or is that a premise you disagree?
-
Or am I misunderstanding the meaning behind your example?
-
Chill Andrew. You're overthinking it, it's a joke story meant to give you a laugh.

-
You know I just noticed that it's difficult to tell my tone, haha. I'm curious Mr. Mircea. I don't have anything against vegans.
-
Most farmers love their animals so they give them a swift death. My grandfather would cry every time before slaughtering one of his pigs.
-
City people have a hard time with this, but it's true. If you raise animals you care for them and don't want them to suffer needlessly.
