Thought Unfinished Retweeted Thought Unfinished
https://twitter.com/unfinishthought/status/857913958740578304 … I've stopped all straining to try and grasp concepts. 1) it's overrated 2) easier to pick up the book next time.
Thought Unfinished added,
This is critical. T. Galleway explains it beautifully in The Inner Game of Work
I'm intrigued by this, but I confess I don't understand. What's wrong with effort? How else are we to learn difficult concepts?
Galleway coached his tennis students by asking them to observe the stitches on the tennis ball as it flew through the air
This distracted their Self 1 (analytical, critical) so that their Self 2 (intuitive, embodied) could take control and learn naturally
You reminded me of Galloway's "Inner Game of Music" sitting on my bookshelf, now it's begging to be re-read. Great interjection Tiago.
Intuitive learning vs Analytical learning is a post you should do. Critical difference in performance & creativity between them.
Problem is im not very good at former
Ha! Then it's going to be good exercise for you as well.
