The most important property of any idea is its function as an expression of a deeper principle. Ideas are branches, principles are the roots
-
-
Language permits for endless permutations of ideas & concepts of reality. This appears confusing and random without extrapolating principles
-
As all species share common ancestors, so too any idea is part of a bigger idea, and those bigger ideas form what is called a principle.
-
Without understanding the bigger ideas and principles at work one is hopelessly confined to a few simple, surface-level interpretations.
-
In the information age those who will thrive must effectively navigate this landscape of ideas by correctly extrapolating deeper principles.
-
This is by no means easy to do; it may even be harder than ever given the sheer volume and complexity of human activity.
-
Looking for principles means asking the right questions. The Matrix is made of fluctuating interpretations, reality operates on principles.

I agree for the most part, however "reality" is governed, to an extent, by perception.
-
To elaborate each defines reality for themselves. Upon that, what is your definition of reality and the universival principals there of?
-
I don't have an answer. I try to understand, not define. It's a continuous process. A definition limits, it's necessary, but not absolutely.

I think of wisdom as an active bridge , a translation between understanding and action. Wisdom always results in doing.
