Human beings like the extremes; you feel refreshed, renewed there. And we think we've "found it". But not for long. The pendulum swings.

If you cling to much to one polarity there is no antithesis to create a contrast, to give meaning and motivation. Move between polarities.
-
This movement is how you evolve & grow all parts of your being equally. There is no "way", there is a way for now and a way for tomorrow.
-
When you feel like you've found "the answer" don't forget that the answer is predicated on the question. And these will change as you do.
-
The answer that worked in the past may not work for the questions of tomorrow. Such is the path if you want to grow and evolve.

mapping to a waveform seems a good test for truth. Aka I like your method here.
-
A waveform is a beautiful analogy for life. The man who surrenders to its perpetual movement learns, loves and lives life.

Been thinking about how life exists at the intersection of opposing forces, and how to balance between them.
-
But I like your suggestion to spend time at the poles as a way to do that. Will try to do that.

This thread is excellent. Seasonal living has a way of balancing oneself as well, adapting to changing environments as a natural cycle.
