When we judge, we act as if we know. What we need is understanding, not "knowledge". Instead of judging, get in the habit of asking "why?".

We are able to judge ourselves effectively only when we have a clear understanding of what is really at work.

Without asking "why?" of ourselves, and taking the time to understand, the only option is to judge and evaluate, and so misunderstand.
