Drinking a bottle of wine and watching Elon Musk on Joe Rogan. An absolute pleasure.

I'm curious - what do you think the odds are that you are wrong about Mr. Musk's authenticity?
-
Probabilistically speaking, few. This is because a person cannot maintain a facade consistently - at some point the inconsistencies will become apparent. I see no such thing and hence have no reason to doubt my opinion, thus far.
-
Interesting, I watched the episode through a different lens and thought I noticed two distinct different voices that he used at different points in the conversation.
-
That is correct. One is the detached rational observer, the other is the human being with 'the limbic system' as he put it.

Authentic, sure yet many times he appeared quite obfuscatory, which wouldn't be displayed in the behaviour of someone impeccably authentic. Not that this will change your mind - but maybe encourage you to revise. Anyways, I had to express my surprise about that statement.
-
Being understood and being authentic are not the same thing.
-
Meant to imply he came across deliberately evasive and deceptiveat times.

That's baffling, coming from someone as astute as yourself. Didn't you notice how deceptively he repeatedly dodged Joe's question regarding who he reports to and deliberates with? and how right after he spiraled into the most nonsensical bit about digging a pit...
