By knowing things without being conscious of the fact that you know them already a sort of imprisonment? I mean how is it knowledge if you arent conscious about it? And isnt it Knowledge facts and information?
-
I don't know why you are so confused. Numerous cognitive neuroscientists have conducted studies that have revealed that only 5% of our cognitive activities (decisions, emotions, actions, behaviour) is conscious whereas the remaining 95% is generated in a non-conscious manner.

Learning how to walk is Knowledge, walking without thinking about it is not Knowledge. Knowledge can be aquired through experience or education. Learning to walk is gaining the knowledge to help you walk but being unconscious of the action of walking can we assume is knowledge?
-
There is also implicit learning, learning without conscious awareness of what has been learned.

As soon as you start evaluating whether what you feel is true or not - it’s too late - you’ve already closed the doors of experience.
