It seems reasonable to think that if the food we eat impacts our hygiene negatively, it’s not optimal for our bodies. Anecdotally, whole food plant based diets have resulted in... No gas, body odor regulation (even when working out 5x per week), good breath, whiter teeth. Anyone else experience this?

Same experience on my end. I don't no if there is any truth to the alkaline/acidity of diets but I thrive on a more alkaline plant based diet w/ fish and occasional meat. Heavy keto diet whilst great for weight loss didn't make me feel as good or have the same energy levels.

The one caveat I'll throw in is if you commit to plant based you should also commit to buying fresh from the farmers market. Buying produce from most supermarkets these days you are effectively just pissing in the wind. Spend the extra, it's well worth it in my experience.
