So true... never try to set goals that will be un-achievable in the sort sheet term. This will lead to disappointment. Set small manageable goals, tick them off, then set bigger ones. This will lead to positive results, greater confidence and good habits.

Be extremely patient. So patient indeed that you actually do completely give up your demand to be able to fix your life yourself. Surrender your self to the Source of those whispers.
-
Drop the resistance. Stop shouting “No!” to your life as it is right now. Open your arms and say: “Yes, I am willing to receive life exactly the way it is given to me right now.”
-
Then see what happens. Follow the gentle quiet guidance of those whispers. It will feel light, easy, satisfactory and joyous, like children’s play. Just enjoy the ride.
-
Thusly you and your experience of life will be changed to something amazing—and even unexpected—with no struggle from your self. It happens one day at a time. Yet, the speed and magnitude of the change will thoroughly amaze you one day—perhaps sooner than you’d ever think.
-
And big thanks for reminding me about patience and taking it day by day. Just today in the grips of astonishment and excitement I had started to worry about how soon I will “get there” and how I could push myself faster to where I’m going. But it’s counterproductive and vain.

Totally agree, and yet I'm drawn to the idea that there's a key, a lever, a shift in perspective - that I could suddenly see/realize/make and it would be like stepping from here to there (in my self) in one purposeful stride.
