The means are readily available, it's the personal conviction that people are lacking. And no one wants to admit it. Because it implies that we can't be what we wish, hope, or believe ourselves to be. We can't be anything, or anyone. We can only be ourselves. And who wants that?

Is it the personal conviction or the lack of understanding around their conviction? Plenty of people have strong commitments towards their goals, but few people take the time to understand why they want to achieve their aims. It's the difference that drives goal failure imo.
