A biological organism. Interesting. Would you then agree with Schopenhauer who seemed to take believe that health is absolutely central to our lives, saying: "In general, nine-tenths of our happiness depends on our health alone"?

Everything relates to biology; absence of evidence does not indicate evidence of absence. We are dimly aware of perhaps 1/10th of the processes that influence cognition, its nature and development, yet pretend to somehow hold psychological dominion over it. Laughable.
-
Judging by all the technology and knowledge we've amassed thus far, you would think we'd be experts by now but quite the contrary. It appears as if the some of the early bright minds had it right-the more you know, the less you grow.
-
It seems to me that in our disconnect with the totality of our nature we are headed towards an ill-fated attempt to replace biology with technology before understanding either.

you're a thousand years too late.

So spirituality, your mind and well, you are just a product of biology? Or what do you mean?
-
You are the one making a distinction between them, I do not agree with it and consider it a false dichotomy.https://twitter.com/mistermircea/status/1032731398023639040?s=19 …
-
I asked you if that is what you mean. However, if you say everything relates to biology, but biology ist not distinct, why don't just say everything relates to everything?
-
Biology is distinct insofar as it is objectively measurable. The claim, "a chair is not a banana" is falsifiable. There is no need to presupose any distinction between what is understood as spirituality, soul, etc, with biology as there is no objective measure that requires it.

Mindset is a cause as much as it is an effect just as “the seed is in the fruit and the fruit is in the seed”
-
Does your body need to exist in order for your mind to? Case closed.
-
How on earth does that support your case that mindset is an effect? Doesn’t the existence of the MIND without body mean MINDset is also a cause? Anyways, we don’t have to agree...
-
If you are claiming that there is such a thing as the existence of mind without body then we indeed cannot agree.
-
Considering neither position can be proven for the body is required to observe the mind, we just have to respect each other’s views for we may both be right or both wrong or once of us right. However, the mind is, in my opinion, much “bigger” and far less limited than the body.

This was a discussion point between Tagore and Einstein during their famous interaction on nature of reality. Would recommend you to go through it https://www.scienceandnonduality.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/einstein_tagore.pdf …

Agree with this. It’s obvious. Notice your mindset after a victory, a success.

I would say mindset is an effect and a cause, in the sense that existing mindsets and beliefs reinforce themseleves as self-fulfilling prophecies. It's related to homeostasis and it's why many people find it difficult to change.

Perception (or mindset) is both a cause and effect. your perception is in part an effect of your biological functioning, while also being the decisive element that determines the cultivation of those biological processes
