How do you get skin in the game in someone else's wellbeing?

By assuming personal risk for the benefit of another, or many others.
-
What are some examples of this? One example I can think of is vouching for character/performance when introducing someone else to others, but I am not sure if this is what you mean. I’m thinking you have SITG because you win/lose credibility based on the person you vouch for.

I think reading the actual book will give better examples than I can. Below is Taleb's triptych.https://twitter.com/remi_walle/status/1019269304359976963 …

Sometimes we are willing to do for other things we are unwilling to do for ourselves Like sustaining a serious 2 hr daily meditation practice Complicated when weighing costs for yourself Simple when someone very close to you is dealing with cancer and needs an emotional heat sink
-
Yes. Begrudgingly, I am discovering this for myself. Emotionally, my willingness to rise up to the expectations of another far exceeds my willingness to rise up to my own.

Some call it < Soul in the Game > . I definitely agree. Your growth compounds. Other growths compounds too. Therefore investing in one protegé = a future leader, which leads others, and there you have a positive societal feedback loop.pic.twitter.com/q6elkmgH44
