Trump-backed candidate, Diane Harkey, loses seat formerly held by Darrell Issa to Democrat Mike Levin. Democrats gain another seat in the House. @realDonaldTrumppic.twitter.com/VidykHM3MQ
Waiting on final numbers, but data shows Trump's hate-inciting rallies and constant campaigning did little to drive voter turnout for regressive candidates. His endorsements were little more than a coin flip. 83 candidates endorsed in tweets: 41 WON - 49.4% 38 LOST - 45.8% 4 TBD
Trump-backed Gubernatorial Candidates: 17 8 LOST - 47.1% 8 WON - 47.1% 1 TBD (Georgia)
Trump-backed Congressional Candidates: 46 19 LOST - 41.3% 26 WON - 56.5% (21 Incumbent) 1 TBD (Maine-2)
38%. Just like his approval rating.
Lost 34/55 so far for those keeping score lol

Lol I’m not very involved, and I don’t hold myself out as such. I wish I could get Nate Silver in on this to explain mathematically how unlikely it would have been for all his endorsements to lose. And I suppose I’m pissy (apologies) bc I wish they all had
Mathematics and politics haven’t gone together very well lately.
