Also, it's true that it has color and style (as all films do), but it's a narrative film and not an experimental film, and thus is "about" the story and not "about" the color and style. Color and style are means of telling the story.

It has a clear linear narrative that is simple to follow, so people's "confusion" or statements that "I" am confused feels honestly like trolling.

I feel so grateful when someone mentions something in the actual story, or gets my real influences rather than comparing me to directors I have little affinity with. Literally my heart becomes flooded with gratitude.

Also, so many other filmmakers today are spoofing the past, and that doesn't help people to "get" what I'm doing. The humor isn't about spoofing other movies - it's about the absurdity of being a woman.
