David has just found another way of accusing anyone, who criticises the apartheid state of Israel, of being anti-semitic.
-
-
-
except of course Israel isn't an Apartheid state. You know, merely repeating that Apartheid slur over and over again, doesn't change the fact that every single citizen of Israel votes in the only liberal democracy in the region.
-
Jewish citizens of Israel have a different and superior set of civil rights than non Jewish ones. That is the law of Israel and it is Apartheid. It is a disgusting country
-
my word you have a lot of hate. When you mix it up with clear ignorance it isn't a good look.
-
Yes, I hate the conduct of the apartheid state of Israel. What civilised person wouldn't? I note that you haven't challenged what I said about the current law in Israel
-
challenge you? On what. What can a Jew do as a citizen of Israel, that an Arab citizen of Israel cannot do?
-
1. Interracial marriage 2. Freedom of movement 3. Access to arable land 4. Exemption from collective punishment 5. Real justice from Price Tag Attacks 6. Access to clean water And of course that's not even getting to the abuse that Ethiopian and left wing jews face.
-
you can always tell when someone reads nothing but rags like Electronic Intifada. None of that is accurate. Why do you hate a state based on ignorance?

I am curious why you think Mas Assimilation is Voluntary Genocide ?
-
Mass assimilation as a solution to 'the Jewish problem' would clearly have been voluntary genocide. The definition of Genocide isn't always a denial of life. For example, it includes transferring children of one group to another group.
-
That still does not explain it. I can understand that the Palestinians outnumber the Jewish pop.. I am sure finer minds can develop a process to ensure that political control can remain & control of military etc Cultural assimilation is harder to control
-
I am not talking about the current situation at all. At the turn of the 1900s, there were 3 internal ideas put forward as a solution to Europe's 'Jewish problem' (Hitler obviously went on to develop one of his own). Those are the 3 I listed in the tweet.

'Assimilation' and genocide are NOT the same thing.
-
mass voluntary assimilation is genocide. You simply transfer all the children from one group to another. Job done and nobody dies. It is no Holocaust, but it is still a form of Genocide (according to the definitions) and was put forward as a solution to Europe's 'Jewish problem'.
-
You're dressing up assimilation in victimhood. The trouble is we all know you're a Jabotinsky fanboy. The real reason you're against assimilation is because you advocate Jabotinsky's racism and Jewish supremacy.pic.twitter.com/cIQAgYsB9a

There are a few Bundist fools out there.
-
depends who you mean. Many of those who suggest they are Bundists are assimilationists.

Seems to me that anti-Zionism might have been a viable position prior to 1948 when several different paths were thinkable. But today, it ultimately calls for the dismantling of the Jewish state. Is there any other way to understand anti-Zionism?
-
Yes, this is clearly true, I often use the analogy of the birth of a child. Family planning, abortion and killing a child are not treated in the same way. Too often anti-Zionists today reference pre-Israel anti-Zionism to give a veneer of legitimacy. They are clearly not the same
